To play a file form the internet in VLC converter, or to save an online file, follow the steps below:
1. Copy the URL of the file that you want to play/save
2. Open VLC Media Player
If you want to play a file follow these steps:

2. Paste the URL in the appropriate box and click on play
3. Your file starts to play right now
If you want to save/convert a file follow these steps:
1. Go to Media –> Open Network Stream
2. Go to the tab Network and paste the URL in the appropriate box and click on play
3. Then go to browse and select the location where you want to save your file and give the file a name
4. At profile you can choose as which type you want to save your file
a. If you want to save the file as a video file H.264 is a good choice.
b. If you want to save the file as an audio file (or convert a video file to an audio file) MP3 is a good choice. If you want to save as MP3, follow the steps below:
1. Select at profile: AUDIO – MP3. 2. Put .mp3 after the name of the file like you want to save it (through Browse –> choose a location –> Give the file a name and end this name with .mp3.
